Due to some decrease in the number of COVID-19 related infections, some restrictions are starting to get lifted and Armenia is taking small steps towards restarting tourism in Armenia.
Foreign citizens can once again arrive to Armenia by air, however, immediately upon arrival health check-ups will be carried out to detect travellers infected with novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Afterwards, a mandatory 14-day self-isolation is required. In the meantime, travellers have the possibility (if they choose to) to undergo at their own expense, a coronavirus PCR test. During the isolation, PCR sampling should be performed exclusively by a laboratory specialist executed at the individual’s self-isolation location. Based on the results of the latter, in case they are negative, the person can come out of the self-isolation before the 14 days are completed.
Wearing masks at public spaces both indoors and outdoors is mandatory (except in nature).
The entry to the territory of Armenia by land is still restricted until further notice.
